Schweizer’s Ergo pocket magnifier, with 35mm flip-up lens, is the perfect discreet accessory for shopping trips, or as a space-saving mini vision aid around the home. Aimed both at the visually-impaired, and other everyday users, it’s a handy magnifying aid which weighs virtually nothing, and takes up no room in a trouser pocket or handbag.
Made from lightweight but strong plastic, it has a curved design with soft edges so it sits comfortably in the hand. A speedy automated folding mechanism allows you to release the lens with one hand. Us it to look at food labels, medicine instructions, doctor’s notes, receipts and other items, where your eyes struggle to read smallprint.
As you would expect from Schweizer, the lens is of high quality. It is aspheric and will magnify your subject 4 times (4x). When you no longer need the lens, simply pop it back into the white and grey coloured body. Note a helpful extra feature of the hole at one end, enabling you to add a cord or lanyard (not supplied) if required.
