Reliable and reassuring, the Nitesafe Maxi is a night light, torch and task light that never needs batteries. Simply put it into its charging cradle and plug it into your mains. This will ensure it’s always charged, so even in the event of a power cut, you have an emergency hand torch or safety night light when it’s dark.
When used as a hand torch, you get up to 60 lumens brightness on Hi setting from 10 LEDs, with a run time up to 3 hours. If you want to make the charge last longer – up to 12 hours - then opt for the Lo setting of just 15 lumens output. There’s also an emergency flashing light should you ever need to attract attention to your position.
On the side of the Maxi is a 5 LED night light, which is also bright enough to use as a little task light for jobs around the house. The night light features two different night illumination settings. Motion Sensor activates the light for about 20 seconds, whenever movement is detected – handy if you need to get out of bed in the middle of the night but don’t want to fumble about with the light switches.
If you choose the Dusk to Dawn option, the light comes on automatically when it’s dark, and switches off when it becomes light. Take it out of the cradle and it will switch on automatically for use as a hand torch.
Primarily intended for use in the home, this night light is versatile for use in other locations too. Plug one in as a ready back-up light for the shed or garage. Take one with you when travelling so you can quickly feel at home in unfamiliar places such as a caravan, hotel room, holiday home or AirBnB. Pets may also appreciate a night light if it means owners don’t tread on, or trip over them, if getting up in the middle of the night.
