Reliable and reassuring, the Nitesafe Duo-Lux is a top-of-the-range model that never needs batteries. Simply put it into its charging cradle and plug it into your mains. This will ensure it’s always charged, so even in the event of a power cut, you still have emergency illumination when it’s dark. Can also be used as a hand-held 5-LED torch, with a run time of up to 8 hours in Power Failure mode.
The Duo-Lux is a full-featured light with two different night illumination settings. Motion Sensor activates the light for about 20 seconds, whenever movement is detected – handy if you need to get out of bed in the middle of the night but don’t want to fumble about with the light switches. The sensor will provide night vision up to about 4 metres, enough to get your bearings in the event of initial uncertainty in the darkness.
If you choose the Dusk to Dawn option, the light comes on automatically when it’s dark, and switches off when it becomes light. If you need to go and investigate further, it’s also ready for action as a conventional hand Torch. Take it out of the cradle and it will switch on automatically.
Primarily intended for use in the home, this night light is versatile for use in other locations too. Plug one in as a ready back-up light for the shed or garage.
