With a lens size of 5 inch/130mm in diameter, it allows you to see large passages of text, or more of other subjects at once. This helps you concentrate on your task, with minimal eye movement because there’s no need to constantly keep changing your hand position. At 2x magnification strength, it will double the size of text, design, artwork, maps and prints.
If this is not quite enough, there’s another mini lens at the top of the handle. This tiny bifocal insert offers higher strength 10x (ten times) magnification. A handy bonus lens for enlarging the tiniest of smallprint or other fine detail.
Large though the magnifier is, it’s still lightweight to hold, with a shatterproof acrylic lens to keep the weight down to about half a pound. The grey finish around the handle contrasts with a black rubberised section, to aid grip, along the handle.
