They incorporate a near Galilean telescopic lens system, which means the viewing distance for small objects is increased. Normal eyewear has a working distance of around five inches, but this increases to sixteen when you wear MAX Detail clip-ons. See the difference, as near subjects stay sharper for longer, with a consistently comfortable 2x magnification throughout.
